The door is a portal through which a future presents itself from the memory of the past; as we cross the threshold in one or two small movements we simultaneously may move from sorrow to joy, anger to calm or darkness into light.

The images are an imaginary narrative around the lives of people whose histories and futures are connected, or become connected, to the physical spaces of the rooms they move between and the memories, the objects and the people contained within.
