Originally research for Inanimate Reason, a series of analogue pinhole images made using the Ondu pinhole. The theme is influenced by, amongst other things, the 1970’s sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, which satirised the suburban life of the corporate grind, through the disintegrating ennui riven life of a reluctant career man.

A common milieu which speaks of entrapment within a system whose purpose is to preserve the capitalist status quo, but meaningless on an individual level beyond that.

Made on a cold December day on Bexhill beach.  With grateful thanks to Dolly Delicious.
