Each mini series is made during my various walks. I have no preconceived idea when I set out; I look for something which fits an idea I’m interested in, and the first photograph determines the following. I only make one photograph of each scene, and stop after around half a dozen. I don’t make any images outside of the idea I’m exploring, so it’s an intentionally disciplined approach, and as much about process as content.

Each series is complete but may serve as a precursor to a larger project. Time will tell.
